Laboratory Chemist

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Chemist to perform laboratory analyses and ensure accurate, reliable results. The successful candidate will follow approved procedures and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, label, and prepare samples for testing.
• Perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Record, review, and report test results.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Prepare reagents and laboratory materials.
• Follow quality-control and infection-prevention procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
• Protect the confidentiality of all test results and patient information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Valid professional license or registration, where required.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Good documentation and computer skills.
• Previous laboratory experience is preferred.
